Contax G2 Black Edition, I miss you

The body color does not enhance the performance but enhances my feelings.

This setup could have been the one. This camera went through many rolls with travels. Never had to change batteries (CR2 3-Volt Lithium Batteries). Hangs not too heavy nor too light.

Rollei 35RF 35 RF Rangefinder 35mm Film Camera

Rollei 35RF is LIGHT and feels solid. I used a 40mm lens (Voigtlander Nokton 40mm f/1.4 Single Coat Leica M Mount Lens) over this camera’s options for the frame. Shutter noise is light and sounds more like a click. The film choice is Kodak Gold ISO 200.

You will find the images I took with this camera in the gallery. This camera is considered rare I got mine off a friend years back. You can order from Japan and hope you won’t need to return it. I have taken a couple of chances and have gotten cameras as described or better.

Canon Sure Shot AF35M II Autoboy 38mm F2.8 35mm Point Shoot Film Camera

Besides the LOUD shutter, this camera is impressive. Cheap and portable. One of my favorites that has been alive for many years. It takes AA batteries, and they last long enough for many rolls. The flash is perfect. My favorite part of the camera is where the camera strap is located. This camera surprised me.

Yashica fx-3 Super 2000 with a 50mm Lens

Cheap setup and film. During 2013 Kentmere 35mm rolls were all I could shoot. They were two bucks more affordable than Kodak. I was obsessed with their grain. It is harsh but in a gentle way.

My first 35mm SLR camera was found in the Chelsea flea market. You can find this camera now for under $100 on eBay. Chelsea Flea Market is worth stopping by. You can walk into the nostalgia portal with the characters who come every weekend religiously, down-to-earth people. This place has made me feel normal and welcomed.
